Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT)
Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT) is a non-destructive testing method in which special chemical liquids are applied to the surface of a material to fill and highlight surface discontinuities, thereby detecting surface-breaking discontinuities. This method is effective in detecting cracks, porosity, burn marks, and other discontinuities on the surfaces of materials manufactured by casting, forging, welding, and similar processes. While this method is not limited by material type, it can only be used to detect surface-breaking discontinuities.
These surface-breaking discontinuities that occur during manufacturing are detected and reported using the liquid penetrant testing method by our expert personnel certified according to the TS EN ISO 9712 standard.
