FUTURE IS RENEWABLE ENERGY

Concerns with the potential depletion of the energy generated from fossil fuels in the future has led people to seek alternative energy resources. To this end, renewable energy gained momentum for a sustainable, renewable and eco-friendly energy production. This type of energy is generated from the natural resources such as sun, wind, geothermal springs, plants and animal waste as well as wave. Depletion risk, high costs as well as environmental hazard of the fossil fuels such as petroleum, natural gas and coal has paved the way for renewable energy to secure a strong foothold for itself.

And, we, as UGETAM, launched our initiatives to use renewable energy, the energy source of the future, in many areas we served. We plan to serve this industry by expanding our accreditation to include inspection of solar and wind power plants. As for the starter, we will develop and forge our know-how and knowledge through energy efficiency observation and controls to be applied in our buildings, on the basis of which we will offer our services. We set the goal of meeting energy consumption of our campus with the help of the renewable energy plants to be built in our campus. In this respect, it is planned to use Solar Panels, Wind Turbines, Carport, Biomass, Hybrid Floating Platform etc. systems, which will be opened to the visitors as an “Experience Center".

In parallel to the developments in the energy industry, UGETAM has been restructuring its service areas to deploy equipment and plants which will serve everywhere energy exists regardless of the source or type of the energy.

Our Renewable Energy Projects

Inspection of Renewable Energy Plants
Acquisition of the capacity and accreditation for the inspection of renewable energy plants, notably of Solar and Wind Power Plants. We are currently working for an extension in the scope of our current TS EN ISO/IEC 17020 accreditation to include inspection of renewable energy systems. We are planning to provide services such as installation verification/validation service, installation and erection inspections, inspection of fabrication process, periodical preventive inspection, monitoring services and thermographic inspection.
Experience Center Project
We set the goal of meeting energy consumption of our campus with the help of the renewable energy plants to be built in our campus. In this respect, it is planned to use Solar Panels, Wind Turbines, Carport, Biomass, Hybrid Floating Platform etc. systems, which will be opened to the visitors.
Energy Efficiency Analysis
To monitor energy consumption of our Kurtköy campus in order to optimize the consumption. To be a role model among IBB subsidiaries with the efficiency analysis report to be developed in this respect.
Service and Industry Survey Project Works
To receive authorization certificate in the field of Industry from Ministry of Energy in order to carry out the survey project works at production/manufacturing sites of industrial companies operating in energy and/or other areas. For this purpose, it is planned for 4 employees of our company to attend a 3-week training.
PQA Certification
Training of Power System Personnel for Installation of Wind and Solar Plants.
