Magnetic Particle Testing (MT)

Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) is a non-destructive testing method based on the principle that magnetic waves concentrate and leak on the material surface (flux leakage) when a discontinuity is encountered after applying a magnetic flux (magnetic flow techniques) or current (current flow techniques) to the inspection surface. This method, which can only be applied to ferromagnetic materials, allows the detection of cracks, porosity, burn marks, and other discontinuities on and just below the surface of materials produced by manufacturing methods such as casting, forging, and welding.

These discontinuities that occur during manufacturing are detected and reported using the magnetic particle testing method by our expert personnel certified according to the TS EN ISO 9712 standard."
