In the Regulation on Health and Safety Conditions in the Use of Work Equipment published in the Official Gazette No. 28628 dated April 25, 2013, Article III, Section 1.1 states: “The maintenance, repair, and periodic inspections of work equipment shall be carried out at intervals and criteria specified in the relevant national and international standards, taking into account the manufacturer’s data and the requirements of science and technology."

If the Regulation on Health and Safety Conditions in the Use of Work Equipment does not specify a standard or maximum period for periodic inspections, they are carried out according to the period recommended by the manufacturer; if this is not available, the maximum period is stated as one year.
